The Menard County Farm Bureau Foundation was established in 2019 to carry out educational, scientific, charitable, and literary work.
Specifically, the MCFB Foundation aims to support agriculture through scholarships, educational materials, library collections, research, and seminars. The corporation focuses on improving education and production in agriculture and related fields.
In 2021, Menard County Farm Bureau President Brian Satorius tragically lost his life in a farming accident. The Foundation decided soon after to rename their annual scholarship in his honor, the Brian Satorius Memorial Scholarship. The Foundation is proud to offer this scholarship with $1,000 per year with an opportunity for an additional $1,000 for up to 3 years in his honor.
